Fruijet SL was founded by Mr Jaime Llobera in 1989 after more than 20 years of experience in the fruit sector.

From the outset, our goal has been to produce and pack high-quality fruit to meet our customers’ needs to the fullest.

We are the second generation of a family business, fully committed and dedicated to fruit production and sales. From our beginnings 25 years ago to today, we have been clear that the only way forward was to improve every day…

That is why today we can state that our modern production, storage and marketing processes have maintained our competitiveness in the market, allowing us to continue being a benchmark for the quality of our products.

Facilities

We are located in Alcarràs (province of Lleida), National Road II, Km 453. The surface area of our facility is 3,000 m2, with refrigerated capacity of 4,000 tonnes under normal cold storage and controlled atmosphere (U.L.O.).

  • Cold rooms prepared for long-term fruit storage in controlled atmosphere (U.L.O) and prepared for dynamic atmosphere.

  • Water dumper suitable for all types of fruit (peach, nectarine, pear, apple…)
  • Machinery for all types of packaging
  • Quality control systems with video surveillance cameras and staff responsible for it.
  • Own trucks for distribution and collection, with a national public transport licence.
  • Global management system to guarantee product traceability, from harvesting in the orchards to final sale.

A genuine commitment to health and the environment

At Fruijet, we have developed an R&D project focused on the production, preservation, processing, and marketing of fresh fruit free of chemical residues, at levels far below those required by current European regulations.

For apples, we apply a specific control and verification system. For pears and stone fruit, we work under a strict internal protocol that guarantees exceptionally high safety and quality standards.

This project not only benefits the end consumer but also represents a significant step towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.

We believe that producing better is the only way forward.
